The APYSL Asia Pacific Youth Elite Swim Meet – Shanghai will take place on 26 September 2026 at the prestigious Shanghai Oriental Sports Center Aquatic Arena, the official venue of the 2011 FINA World Championships.
This world-class facility has welcomed many of the sport's greatest international athletes and offers participants a unique opportunity to compete in one of Asia's most renowned aquatic venues, creating an unforgettable experience both in and out of the pool.
The meet brings together elite youth swimmers aged 6–18 from Australia, China, and across the Asia-Pacific region, providing a professional platform for high-level competition, athletic development, and cross-cultural friendship.

Passport & Travel Requirements
Visa-Free Entry: Australian passport holders are eligible for visa-free entry into mainland China for up to 30 days for sports competitions, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
Important Travel Notes:
- 6-Month Validity: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry (23 September 2026).
- Early Check: Check passport expiry date early and renew 2–3 months before departure if needed.
- Blank Pages: Passport must have sufficient blank pages for immigration stamps.
- Good Condition: Passport must be in good physical condition (no damage or alterations).
- Immigration Check: Entry is subject to immigration approval; officers may request return flight & hotel details.
